CIOCNS Leadership Grant
The Central Indiana Organization of Clinical Nurse Specialists promotes and supports the contributions Clinical Nurse Specialists make through advancing our members’ professional leadership development.
The CIOCNS Leadership Grant is funded and supported by CIOCNS. We encourage experienced Clinical Nurse Specialists to propose opportunities that support the mission and vision of CIOCNS.
Available Funding
One grant may be awarded biannually. The accepted proposal may be funded for up to $2,500.00.
Call for Applications
New applications will be accepted between September 18 and October 20 by 11:59pm (EST).
Specific Requirements for this Grant
- Applicant must hold a masters or doctoral degree as a Clinical Nurse Specialist.
- Applicant must be a member of CIOCNS and have actively contributed to the work of the affiliate.
- Proposal must align with at minimum one of the following of CIOCNS's goals:
- Increase the visibility and influence of CNSs in Indiana.
- Collaborate and advocate through national organizations and legislative representation to advance nursing practice.
- Promote and quantify the effect CNSs have on healthcare’s quadruple aim.
- Support the membership of CIOCNS by promoting professional leadership.
Areas of Interest
- Presenting/disseminating CNS outcomes to other healthcare professionals and leaders
- Participating in professional development opportunity involving leadership
- Research study quantifying CNS outcomes
