Position Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery

Location: West Bloomfield, MI 48322

Duration: 13 Weeks Contract with the possible extension

Shift: Night & Day Shift available (3*12 hr shift)

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum period
Monitor maternal and fetal conditions, recognizing and responding to complications
Assist physicians during deliveries and procedures
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, recovery, and newborn care
Document patient care accurately in the system
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient care

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
Post-Partum experience required
Active RN license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications (mandatory – candidates without these will be rejected)
