Volunteering, 8:30-11:30 am

Optional lunch afterward from 11:30 am-12:30 pm

• Volunteers will inspect, sort, repackage, and pack donated food items, including canned goods, fresh and frozen foods, and produce
• Why is this project important? Volunteers will help ensure the safety and accuracy of the food products we distribute, nearly 100 million pounds last year.
• During your shift, your group will help provide 500 to 12,000 meals, depending on your assigned project.

 Preparing to volunteer:

1. Volunteers should park in any yellow spaces in the parking lot and enter at door #5. When you reach the entrance of our parking lot, turn on your flashers to indicate that you are a volunteer, and a traffic control officer may check in with you to direct you to the right place.
1. Parking space on-site is limited. Please consider carpooling if that is appropriate for your group.
2. Please arrive at the designated arrival time (15 minutes before the start of your shift) to ensure that we have time to get you checked in and trained.
3. Please note: Closed-toe shoes (sneakers, boots, etc.) are required when volunteering.
